WEEKS 1 TO 4
In the Advanced Complete Make-up Artist Course, you will study four weeks of Advanced Beauty and Fashion.
This module builds on the skills covered in your initial Fashion make-up week with an additonal four intensive weeks.
You will cover all aspects of fashion make-up and hair, finishing with a photoshoot with professional models and photographer.

- Understanding Commercial and Editorial Looks
- Tools Workshop
- Smokey Eyes
- Smokey Eyes with Colour
- Shading and Contouring
- Male grooming
- Nails and Body Make-up
- Working with Pigment and Bright Colours
There are also technical classes in:
- Blusher techniques
- Eyeliner and lashes application
You will be advised on working in the industry, building a portfolio, and how to follow a brief. Master classes and speed tests with top industry experts ensure you will be taught the most current looks, as well as visits from top cosmetic companies. (Which companies appear depends on their availability).
WEEKS 5 TO 6
If you are on the six week course in January (also included in the Cert HE Professional Make-up Design course) your course will also include more speed tests, various projects involving creative design work and research, glitter work, catwalk looks, and fashion trends.
You will also have a second photoshoot with professional models and photographer. This will be followed by feedback and an assessment of your shoot.

How To Apply
You'll be pleased to learn that there are only really two requirements for entry to this course:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- If English is not your first language, you must have a good standard of spoken English (equivalent to IELTS 6).

No make-up experience is required.
Following a successful interview a 25% (£750 for the 3-week or £1,500 for the 6-week) deposit and a completed enrolment form will guarantee your place on the course. The rest is due a month before the course starts.
Please contact us prior to booking your course as module dates (as opposed to complete course dates) can vary according to tutor availability. Once a module student has enrolled the module dates will be fixed.
