A huge congratulations to Marese Langan, Delamar graduate, who has won the BAFTA for Best Make-up and Hair at the 2012 Baftas for her excellent work on ‘The Iron Lady’. Marese shares the award with Mark Coulier, who did the prosthetics, and J. Roy Helland, Meryl Streep’s personal make-up artist.
A very well-deserved win for amazing make-up and hair.
In other news, Trefor Proud, who trained at Delamar at the same time as Marese, has completed work as Department Head on ‘One Shot ‘ starring Tom Cruise. He is now set to shoot ‘Ender’s Game’, a huge science fiction film in New Orleans, starring Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley and Viola Davis.
