2012 has started with a bang, with 2 Delamar graduates being part of BAFTA nominated make-up and hair teams!
Marese Langan has been nominated as Make-up and Hair Designer for the excellent film ‘The Iron Lady’ starring Meryl Streep.
Jennie Cooper was main trainee on ‘My Week with Marilyn’, also nominated for Best Make-up and Hair.
We always have fantastic tutors at Delamar and recently some amazing new ones have joined us as guest tutors:
Marc Pilcher – Marc’s recent hairdressing work can be seen on Madonna’s film ‘W.E.’, and on ‘My Week with Marilyn’.
Sallie Jaye – Sallie’s many Film and TV credits include ‘Prince of Persia’: Sands of Time’, 3 Woody Allen films, ‘Blood Diamond’, ‘Gosford Park’ etc.
Jo Frost – One of the top make-up artists working in fashion, Jo works on all of the fashion shows and shoots, for couture. Having assisted the best in the business such as Pat McGrath, Val Garland and Charlotte Tilbury, Jo has been generously sharing her experiences and skills with the students, giving them invaluable advice, and doing beautiful demonstrations. She is a Delamar graduate from 1999 and we are very proud of her incredible talent and success.
The current students have been working hard producing some lovely work.
