It’s been another busy week here at the Academy. Some of our students have been learning to make facial hair pieces and how to prepare period wigs. Our Advanced Fashion students have been preparing for their Catwalk Show and the Advanced Prosthetics students have been working extremely hard towards their big projects (resulting pics to be posted shortly).

A huge congratulations to Marese Langan, Delamar graduate, who has won the BAFTA for Best Make-up and Hair at the 2012 Baftas for her excellent work on ‘The Iron Lady’. Marese shares the award with Mark Coulier, who did the prosthetics, and J. Roy Helland, Meryl Streep’s personal make-up artist. A very well-deserved win for amazing make-up and hair.
